WORKOUT OF THE MONTH

Filed under: Worlouts — Thyre @ 9:15 am

Here’s a quick 3 minute video for the “Workout of the Month”.
I decided to give you a workout with my training secrets…
But you don’t have to do this unless you want to get results.

Be sure to do a proper warm-up before beginning this circuit.

1. Squat
2. Pushup
3. Lunge
4. Row
5. Plank

There are 3 levels for each exercise, choose only 1 level for all moves.

So if you squat with level 2, do not do a level 3 pushup, do a
level 2 push up and lunge; however you may do more reps on
the lower level until you can complete all exercises for the next level.

Let me know what you think,
Tye

What Are Your Goals?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Thyre @ 4:11 pm

Piñata, you want some more?

Hey everybody, hope you had a great weekend.

So as most of you know the weekend before last was my birthday, and each year I think about where I am and where I could be both mentally and physically.  I sat and thought about the current training program I was doing, it got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you doing a program where you are looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 8 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 8-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your psyche and body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 8 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post, with your response, and use it as a source of fuel for your fire and a source of accountability. It’s not just about setting goals, it’s ALL about achieving them.

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 8 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

BTW if you won’t even write your goal, you can just forget about achieving it…step up and we can make it happen!

P.S.  If there are at least 10 comments I will come back with some cool tips. Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

The Best S— I’ve Ever Had

Let me tell you about what I did yesterday that was absolutely amazing.

Trust me you will be happy that I shared this with you.

If you want to spice up your life and keep the pounds off you have to do this.

The weather is getting warmer and clothing length is getting shorter, folks are spending less time indoors.

It started out as any typical day deciding what to have for dinner.  “Pizza” was my first thought, and then I said okay if I want a six-pack by 4th of July maybe not.

So before leaving the house in the morning I put on the best SOUP I’ve ever had out of a slow cooker.  Everyone wants to know about time saving healthy recipes, well I’ve got some for you.

Pizza soup is sooooo good and its only about 300 calories. Here you go:

Combine a 14 oz jar of pizza sauce, 14 oz can of beef broth, 1 1/2 cups of water, 8 oz of sliced mushrooms (drained if canned), and 3 oz of (turkey) pepperoni in a 4-quart slow cooker.  Cover and cook on low-heat for 5-6 hours. When the soup is ready prepare frozen garlic bread according to the package directions. To serve, place heated bread slice in a soup bowl and ladle soup over the bread.

It totally tastes like pizza. Feel free to use your own spices and vegetable preferences to make it your own; this is just the base recipe. I usually add at least some basil, oregano, olives, and onions it all depends on the day.  So take 10 minutes in the morning to hook it up and enjoy the best pizza SOUP you will ever have.

Since it’s warm here in sunny Southern California how about a Taco Salad:

Grill up some carne asada, place it on top of your choice of lettuce, tomatoes, sliced green onion, cilantro, black beans, corn, salsa, and for those of you interested (not me) maybe some avocado. It’s refreshing and surprisingly filling. Bon A Petit.

Let me know what you think below.
